Guagua Pichincha Volcano (4794 m) is a young active volcano in the Ecuador Andes near Quito Ecuador!
Departure at 7:30 am from Quito. Heading west through the small town of Lloa to the refuge of the Guagua Pichincha Volcano, which is located at an altitude of 4550 m. Then walk up to the crater for about 2 to 3 hours at 4794 m where you can see the smoke clouds coming out of the immense crater and can enyoy the view while having a lunch. Return to the refuge and back to Quito at about 4 to 5 pm.
