Fishing Trip
2 Day- tour
Fish a delicious trout in the Andes!
Itinerary
Day 1
Departure from Quito at 6 am in private transport. You head in a North Easterly direction on the Via Inter-Oceanica for about 2 hours which leads to the Ecuadorian Amazon. After crossing the Tumbaco Valley you begin walking and experiencing the atmosphere of the Andean moor lands that lie within the “Cayambe. Coca” Ecological Reserve. On our hike we will be able to see a large variety of decorative and medicinal plants, which our guide can point out and explain their significance. After 2 to 3 hours you finally arrive at the Parca Cocha Lagoon at 4040 m.
You will set up the camp and have then time to fish. For dinner you will hopefully then be able to serve a fresh rainbow trout!
Day 2
In the morning you have the time to do some more fishing and hike around the beautiful lake. Around midday you have to pack up your things and return to Quito. You will be in Quito at 4 to 5 pm.
