CarpeDM has partnered with Ecuador Volunteers to provide low or no cost opportunities to both national and international volunteers. We hope to connect volunteers with the projects they feel they can be of the most service in order to help Ecuador Volunteers acheive their objective of "helping public and private organizations realize social, cultural, educational, scientific and developmental activities that result from the social improvement of Ecuador and any other country that may need our help." General objectives include:

• General cooperation
• Foster fundraising
• Recruit talented individuals
• Generate understanding and ability for the common good
• Strengthen the management of civil society organizations and municipalities
• Instill in people a culture of social responsiblity

Sample Projects

Ecuador Volunteers provide a variety of community, ecological and social projects throughout the country. Some projects that are offered are:

• Education and Heathcare in Punta Chonta
• Protection of Turtles in the Galapagos
• Volunteering in a Rural School as a Teaching Assistant
